The more you tell us, the more useful our first reply is. Helpful things: what is on the roof now, roughly how old it is, whether you are chasing a leak or the roof is simply past it, whether the house is one or two storeys, and whether anyone has repaired it before.

Lifted tabs along one edge, moss on the north slope only, a ceiling stain that shows up in a long rain but not in a shower — any of those narrow it down before we are on the roof.

We get back to you on whichever contact details you give us and arrange a time. We look at the roof surface, the attic if we can get into it, the ventilation numbers, and every flashing and edge detail.
